The Role:

People tell us that meeting others living with Parkinson's is the most important support they want locally. With your help, we can provide this in a relaxed, informal way at our Henfield Parkinson's cafe which takes place on the last Tuesday of the month from 10.30am-12pm at the Henfield Haven.

As a group coordinator you'll meet new people, bringing them together to share experiences and support one another - you included. You'll be supported by Parkinson's UK staff, while developing valuable organisational and communication skills.

What skills do I need?

• You’re enthusiastic and committed to your Parkinson’s community.
• You’re able to bring people together to share tasks and make things happen.
• You have strong organisational skills.
• You’re good at communicating, as well as ensuring that everyone is included and heard.
• You're confident with email and have a willingness to make use of other digital tools to support your role.
