Who Are We?
Embracing Age is a Christian charity working towards a world where older people are valued, connected and full of hope, by combatting loneliness, mobilising volunteers, equipping churches and speaking out. Inspired by our Christian ethos, we serve older people regardless of background, ethnicity or beliefs, upholding dignity, compassion and respect for all.
The Role
Cards are handmade by our crafting volunteers to be sent to residents without family and friends or those suffering isolation to help combat loneliness and bring joy, hope and connection.
The volunteer would be responsible for organising how the cards are distributed across West Sussex, coordinating between volunteers and care homes, delivery of the cards or arranging others to deliver.
