The 1st Rudgwick Scout Group is seeking a dedicated and organised volunteer to take on the essential role of Group Treasurer. You will be vital to ensuring the smooth financial operation of our charity, helping us provide an exciting and life-changing programme of activities for our young people in Rudgwick and the surrounding area.
You don't need to be a qualified accountant, but we are looking for someone who is:
Organised and Detail-Oriented - Able to maintain clear and accurate records.
Comfortable with Figures - Has basic arithmetic and spreadsheet skills.
Trustworthy - Will handle the Group's finances responsibly and confidentially.
A Good Communicator - Can explain financial matters clearly to the Committee.
Supportive of Scouting's Values - Willing to help us deliver a great youth programme in Rudgwick.

Work can be undertaken in your own time, from a location suitable for you. The role requires you to attend 3 Trustee meetings a year and the AGM.
