Who Are We? 

Horsham Area Community Car Scheme transport elderly people to clubs, societies, doctors, hospitals, hairdressers, shopping and more!


The Role: 

We are looking for volunteers who would be able to answer the phone and take bookings for journeys both within and outside Horsham with our team of volunteer drivers.

Working in the office you would:

  • Explain the booking process and cost structure.
  • Help clients make suitable bookings.
  • Set up new clients and record client information.
  • Administrative tasks.

Our office hours are 9 am to 12 noon Monday to Friday, but it is useful to extend these in order to open and close the office. 

What skills do I need?

  • Ability to answer the phone and be friendly and approachable.
  • Develop the confidence to work independently.
  • Good IT skills are useful but not essential.
  • Be aware of the needs of the clients.
