volunteer trained First Aider and stewards/fire marshals for Horsham Music Circle concerts

Horsham Music Circle is a voluntary run Not-For-Profit society organising professional chamber music concerts and recitals, mostly classical but also lighter programmes and jazz, held at St Mary's Church and the Causeway Barn. It begins its 84th Season this autumn. Many high profile musicians have performed for us here including Julian Lloyd Webber, Evelyn Glennie, Peter Donohoe and more recently Jess Gillam, the Kanneh-Masons and the King's Singers.

We are seeking volunteers for the following roles:

A First Aider to be in attendance at the concert on

• Saturday 18th October 6.15pm to 9.15pm , at the  Causeway Barn
• Saturday 29th November 3.50pm to 6.50pm at the Causeway Barn

2 Stewards/Fire Marshals for concerts on 

• Saturdays 20th September at St Mary's Church,
• 18th October and 29th November at Causeway Barn.

Also to help with shifting chairs at end of concerts in Causeway Barn

What skills do I need?

The First Aider should be trained and hold current valid certificate

Stewards/Fire Marshals - do not require detailed training but should be fit and healthy and able to clearly instruct the audience where to go in order to evacuate the building safely, and able to shift chairs to the racks after audience has left.

They will be briefed beforehand.
