Computers for Kids is a charitable initiative aimed at providing free or low-cost computers to children who otherwise wouldn’t have access to them—typically due to financial hardship. The goal is to bridge the digital divide and ensure that all children, regardless of background, have the tools they need to:
Complete schoolwork and homework
Access educational resources online
Learn digital skills that are essential for future jobs
Connect with teachers and classmates
The Role:
We’re looking for friendly, committed people to join our volunteer team and help bring technology to children who need it most. No formal experience needed—just a willingness to help and learn.
Current opportunities:
Digital Media Volunteer - Help manage our social media and spread the word about the work we do.
Fundraising Volunteer - Support our efforts to raise money and find donated computers.
Computer Support Volunteers - Get hands-on helping to clean, set up, and prepare donated computers (we’ll show you how!).
Delivery Volunteers - Help us deliver computers to families (own transport is helpful but not essential).
