Trustee & Secretary to the Trustees

Who Are We?

A registered charity working in partnership with Horsham District Council to promote and protect Warnham Local Nature Reserve for the benefit of the varied wildlife to be found and as an important and valued community open space.

The charity has a board of trustees which runs the organisation in conjunction with a number of dedicated volunteers, some of whom support the trustee board and attend committee meetings.

The Role:

• To ensure that trustee meetings and other meetings such as the AGM, are properly administered.
• Complete the annual submission to the Charity Commission.
• Maintain up to date records of the Charity.
• Monitor trustee member action points.

Availability: As and when necessary to fulfil the needs of the role. Average commitment 4 hours per week. Trustees meet on a quarterly basis, and a separate Management Committee meets with the same frequency but on different dates.

What skills do I need?

• To be organised and methodical.
• Able to take good minutes.
• Able to keep accurate records.
• Has the relevant skills to organise a meeting well.
