Join the new Fundraising Team at Huxley’s!

Huxley's Bird of Prey Centre, Horsham, is home to over 80 stunning birds of prey, an adorable family of meerkats, chatty parrots, 2 prickly porcupines and a raven. Run almost exclusively by volunteers, we were awarded Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice award 2025 - placing us in the top 10% of visitor attractions worldwide, according to our reviews on Tripadvisor.

Role

As a registered charity, we are looking to expand our fundraising efforts and are setting up an exciting new fundraising team to help us raise vital funds for the centre.

Whether you’ve got experience in fundraising, been part of a PTA, or are completely new to it, we’d love to have you on board! All you need is enthusiasm, reliability, and a bit of spare time to make a real difference. 

Availability

Volunteers can contribute as much or as little time as they are able, and choose fundraising projects that suit their skillset.

What skills do I need?

Skills are so varied!

Maybe you're good at writing funding applications, or great at organising community family fun days.

Maybe you'd like to help by holding a collection pot a an event, or maybe you'd like to research and engage potential corporate sponsors.

Maybe your skills lie in organising something like a fun run, a pub quiz or a golf day to raise funds? Or maybe you could call round local businesses to ask for donations of raffle prizes for our next family fun day?
