Who Are We?

Nymans is A garden lovers' home for all seasons, with an extensive yet intimate garden set around a romantic house and ruins.

The Role

We're looking for volunteers to help us engage family visitors in a fun-filled Summer of Play. If you’re in your element talking to people, especially children, and you’re happy being outside, this is the role for you.

This is a short-term role for the duration of the Summer holidays – but you are welcome to stay longer if you want! 

What skills do I need?

This is a short-term role for the duration of the Summer holidays – but you are welcome to stay longer if you want!

You'll be:

• Providing a warm, welcoming and friendly approach to visitors in the Summer of Play field and giving them a reason to return
• Demonstrating how the play equipment works and encouraging play
• Looking after the play equipment, keeping things neat and tidy, and flagging if anything is broken and needs replacing/ fixing.
