Who Are We?

We’re a local charity with a big ambition: to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain free. Providing expert hospice care, we’re there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when life comes full circle. We also pioneer standards in end of life care through collaboration, research and training, reaching even more people facing death and bereavement.

The Role:

Get involved with our busy Individual Giving fundraising team and help us continue to provide end of life care for our community when it’s needed the most.

You’ll be helping to promote our Sponsor A Nurse Regular Giving programme and/or our Hospice Lottery whilst creating awareness of our work in the community, by attending local hospice or community led events across West Sussex and South East Surrey. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join a team of hospice ambassadors to attend events in the Surrey and West Sussex area, to create awareness of our Regular Giving and/or Lottery fundraising options and to get more supporting us.

This is not a target led role, but with your help we hope to expand our committed giving in the community. This is a people facing volunteer role, which will teach invaluable skills that could be transferrable to any workplace. Your manager will be able to provide a reference to support any further employment opportunities.

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Full UK Driving Licence would be desirable but not essential, driver must be over 21 with 2 years minimum experience
