Treasurer to Horsham Twinning Association

Who Are We?

Horsham Twinning Association is a volunteer organisation which serves to breathe life into the twinning agreements made between Horsham District Council and its twin towns. We organise visits and exchanges and work to build mutual understanding between our three towns.

The Role:

We are looking for someone to take over the role as treasurer for our association. Activities to include: 

• Maintaining cashbook and balance against bank statements
• Attending committee meetings and producing Treasurer reports
• Attending the AGM and presenting an annual Treasurer report
• Paying monies received from members into bank
• Issuing cheques against invoices and paying expenses.

What skills do I need?

No formal accountancy qualifications are needed to perform this role.

Person needs to be numerate and organised with a knowledge of spreadsheets.

A handover will be organised and the current treasurer will be on hand for any queries.
